Pine Pollen
Pine pollen, a traditional Chinese medicine from the male spore of pine trees like Pinus massoniana and Pinus tabulaeformis, has been used for thousands of years to treat various ailments, including colds, prostate disease, anemia, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and rhinitis. Known as the "natural micronutrient storeroom," pine pollen is rich in amino acids, minerals, vitamins, enzymes, and flavonoids. Studies suggest it can delay aging and reverse certain age-related effects in the body by inhibiting the accumulation of advanced glycation end-products (AGEs).

Pine pollen is a fine, yellow dust and a superfood containing over 200 nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, essential fatty acids, and phytohormones like DHEA. These phytohormones, also known as brassinosteroids or phytoandrogens, mimic human hormones and are crucial for both men and women. They are abundant in pine pollen and contribute significantly to its health benefits.
Black walnut hull
The walnut (Juglans spp.), part of the Juglandaceae family, consists of the kernel, skin, shell, and green husk. While the edible kernel is widely cultivated, the green husk is often discarded as waste. Recent studies have shown that walnut green husks contain natural bioactive compounds with strong antioxidant and antimicrobial properties.
With increasing consumer demand for natural products, walnuts offer various beneficial chemicals for consumption, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and industrial applications. Rich in antioxidants like proanthocyanidins, walnuts help protect against sun damage, improve vision, enhance joint and artery flexibility, and boost blood circulation. Walnut husk extracts have antimicrobial effects against gram-positive bacteria and can inhibit xanthine oxidase, which is linked to hyperuricemia and gout. Additionally, walnut husks are high in naphthoquinones, such as juglone, which have cytotoxic effects on melanoma cells and can be used as broad-spectrum biocides and bio-herbicides.
Walnuts are among the richest sources of phenolic compounds in edible plants, offering numerous health benefits. Walnut extracts from leaves, husks, kernels, or shells exhibit significant antioxidant, antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiviral activities. They help remove free radicals and improve iodine levels, which aid in eliminating harmful halogens and radioactive iodine. Juglone, a key phenolic compound in walnuts, has potential antitumor effects and may exhibit antitubercular activity. Walnut extracts also show antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory properties, and defatted seed cake extracts have potential cosmetic anti-aging applications by mildly inhibiting inflammation, UVB-induced apoptosis, oxidative stress, collagenase, and elastase activities.

Papaya (Serrapeptase)
"Papaya is a superfood that gets little attention for its ability to slow and reverse signs of aging, but the reversal happens both internally and externally at a cellular level," says Trista Best, MPH, RD, LD. "The vitamins and plant compounds contained within papaya make it an antioxidant-rich fruit. These antioxidants and vitamins work in the body to slow and reverse oxidative stress," says Best. "If this oxidative stress is allowed to occur and persist, it can damage cells. Once those cells replicate, their damage manifests itself in the form of wrinkles, loss of elasticity, and even chronic conditions exacerbated by inflammation.
Serrapeptase, also known as Serratio Peptidase, is a proteolytic enzyme, meaning it breaks down proteins. Derived from the papaya fruit, this enzyme, when isolated and tablet-coated, has demonstrated anti-inflammatory and pain-blocking properties similar to aspirin, ibuprofen, and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Preliminary research suggests that Serrapeptase may also inhibit plaque buildup in arteries, preventing atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) and reducing the risk of heart attack or stroke. Unlike aspirin and other over-the-counter NSAIDs, Serrapeptase has not been shown to cause ulcers or stomach bleeding.
Serrapeptase is believed to function in three key ways:

Serrapeptase has been used in Europe and Asia for over 25 years. By digesting or dissolving nonliving tissue, including blood clots, cysts, and arterial plaque, it treats various conditions such as sprains, torn ligaments, postoperative swelling, venous thrombosis (clots in the legs), ear, nose, and throat infections, and atherosclerosis.
Rhodiola Rosea
Commonly known as the "golden root," Rhodiola rosea L. is a Chinese herb widely used in various food additives, drinks, and cosmetic products. This botanical adaptogen, which primarily grows in the Himalayan region and Tibet, is believed in traditional Chinese medicine to boost qi and reduce fatigue. The pharmacological anti-aging effects of R. rosea are well-documented. Studies have confirmed its therapeutic value in treating aging-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, cerebrovascular disease, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease (Zhuang et al., 2019). Saffron (Crocus Sativa)
Saffron (Crocus sativus L.), originally cultivated in the East and Middle East, and later in Mediterranean countries, is derived from the plant's stigmas and is gaining renewed popularity. Known for its medicinal and culinary benefits, saffron is rich in carotenoids and terpenes, exhibiting strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Saffron's phytochemical profile offers numerous health benefits, particularly in preventing age-related diseases. Its main compounds, crocins, inhibit beta-amyloid aggregation, a key factor in Alzheimer's disease. Clinical trials have shown saffron to be as effective as common Alzheimer's drugs, with similar side effects.
